Ground source heat pumps are an efficient way to heat your home. They make use of the energy stored in the ground. During the summer the warm weather and the sun passes into all ground, this is stored as energy. during the winter months a ground source heat pump is able to extract this using a network of pipes under ground. These pipes are carrying and anti-freeze mixture called Gylcol. This Glycol is then able to boil refridgerant inside of the GSHP generating heat. This is then compressed to make it a useable heat.
